Well, back to his normal self by the time i got home from field Saturday. normal except he was some upset with me! he knew where we'd been and what we'd been doing. I kept telling him that there were no actual birds, it was all plastic, but he was still upset!
He's been really good about his incision, hasn't bothered it nor needed the dreaded cone of shame.
Yes, post-surgery care includes wiping his bum with gentle non-scented baby wipes. He is NOT a fan of this behaviour at all. I have to get him to lay down on his side, bribe with cookies, in order to get it done.
He goes in at lunch today for a post-surgery check on both ends, i suspect they're going to say he's doing great. I think stitches are in until next week, which means he's going to miss field again this coming weekend.

Glad Scout is doing so well and his only issue is being unhappy with you not taking him with you. I wish we could explain and they would understand it's for their own good.
