    ah man, that sucks!

I went thru TPLO surgery with Penny last summer for one blown knee. My friend has an adopted dog that had both done at once (they were long term injuries, she came into rescue like that). I know some vets don't like doing both at once, many want one knee stabilized before doing the other.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Sending good thoughts for Stella's treatment and recovery. My Cassie is just coming off of 10 weeks of recovery from a TTA procedure for a ruptured cruciate ligament. I have no experience with doing both simultaneously. I wonder if they would consider treating the worst one first and then a couple of weeks later repairing the second. Cassie was bearing weight on the bad knee within days of the surgery. A week or so following she starting walking with less hesitation.

Thanks all, we have an appointment on Tuesday, it was the scheduler on the phone who mentioned both at once. And that they might keep her right then and there and do her the next day. If they do two at once they stay two nights and she said many walk out after the procedure under their own steam. No decisions until the exam of course and they have a DVM radiologist on site. In checking out the practice it seems like a good place to be.

Will update after our visit on Tuesday.
