So Crafther & I are sitting in our chairs. Mocha is asleep touching both our chairs & Latte is snuggled in daddy's lap. I mentioned I needed to go to the bathroom but I didn't want to bother the dogs nap. She started laughing and said she just thought the same thing. Are we crazy dog people out what! I wear that title with pride BTW.

Yeah...I usually work around the dogs, too. This just might be the only place where we have reason to admit this to others.

I hear people wear diapers when they go to the casino. I hope we never get that bad. If we do, it's for a much better reason.

I once texted my boss from bed that I'd be late for a meeting because the dog was too comfy snuggled up in bed with me.
Luckily it was an insignificant meeting and she is very much a dog person also, so she just laughed.

When Brooks is sleeping I won't get up as it will wake him, and sometimes I just need the peace and quiet!
I like to be comfortably warm in the car but that does not happen when Archie is with me. Back windows must be down some so he can be comfortable and smell the world around him.

We bought an organic material dog bed for Fran's crate. It was too big but we thought it would ride up on the edges OK. It didn't quite so we bought another one that was the width of the crate but short the length. It arrived yesterday.
We spent 45 minutes pushing it one inch forward, two inches back, putting Fran in her crate, then out, letting her settle to see if she was comfortable, then repeating the process. Over and over again.
We must have done it right for what we settled on. Now she barely gets out of her crate.
It completely makes sense that our dogs are comfortable. We're pretty obsessed with it.

I think it is a generally accepted rule, if a dog is napping on you, or near you, you are staying put. That's why I like to grab the couch in evening TV time, because the little puppy Mayson will lay on top of me, and then I can get DH to bring me a drink...because I certainly can't get up!
