The Science Dog is a blog written by Linda Case that discusses various issues around dogs in general and training using evidence-based research that is pretty interesting. She is a canine nutritionist, science writer, and dog trainer. Her most recent article is about recognizing resource guarding which I know some folks have come on here to get help with.

Others might find the second article on her main page interesting as well, where she discusses differences among and between field bred and conformation bred Golden Retrievers and Labs.

Even if these articles don't float your boat, she has lots of other thought provoking articles as well that deal with training and nutrition that might be worth a look. Just thought I'd put it out there for anyone (else) who likes to read this kind of stuff in their "spare" time.
