What a day!
It's posts like this that remind me one more reason I home seniors.
That's who Archie is becoming. Holy moly! At first I was like "aw finally a slightly calmer dog". Then 12 weeks old rolls around. AAAHH!!! Why didn't I just adopt a senior lol Let me tell you guys. These Welshies have just as much energy as Labs!
He keeps launching himself at my son. I'm becoming quite concerned about that because yesterday Archie almost got his eye.
Archie decided he was just gonna walk up the stairs to the second floor today. I was holding off teaching him because I didn't want to chase him up and down the steps. Well, apparently he didn't need teaching. I didn't give him a chance to go down.
Earlier he dug a new hole and crawled under the deck AGAIN! Plugged that one now. Had to bathe him. My whole bath tub was covered in mud. He was not a fan! And to wrap up our evening he decided to poop on the rug right in front of me. Ugh! I'm exhausted!
Edit: Archie now goes down the stairs too. No fear! [emoji33]

Remember what Nancy said about that mark on his head....
OH the JOYS of a puppy!!!!!!!
I'm seriously surprised of how completely unfazed he was about the stairs. Maybe it's because he's been using the 3 stairs outside for the last 5 weeks. But he just went right up and went right down. No encouragement needed. I remember Jules trying to go down the stairs the first time with that face "you want me to do what?!" Man, this little guy has guts.
Raising puppies is not for the weak!!!! I'd still be careful with the whole going down the steps thing, he could easily injure himself launching off the stairs.
I must be a nutcase because I love puppy energy! I love that age and I love naughty puppies too, they are the funnest
