We took the gurls boating last week, the air was cold, and the water was just 44-45 degrees. I know that doesn't sound super cold, or with frozen ice chunks breaking up in it, but it is the coldest water they have been in yet. We drop our boat in the Sacramento Delta River System, so the water is snow melt and rainwater mix. They didn't hesitate to jump in and play and did really long retrieves, and had a blast! They are almost 10 months old.
