    Easter Bunny Update

The Easter Bunny/Candy babies, Peep, Wonka, Robin, Cadbury, Bunny, Chicky and Willy are 18 days old already.

They are monster puppies and look like they are just going to eat their momma. LOL Just kidding, sort of. I usually wait until 3 weeks to introduce them to any food, but I started feeding them yesterday, just some puppy starter food, and they went for it like they have been eating it for a week, guess they were ready!

They are using the potty box and walking really well for their age, eyes are open and they can hear now. Fun times! Now the hard work for me begins. :-D

Very cute! I am curious, are you able to see different personalities with them yet?

Oh gosh yes, not total personalities, but definitely stronger more bossy personalities, and sweeter more easy going. I spend a lot of time with them, and everyday I see more personality emerge, I really seem to notice it after their eyes open.

They are setting up a hierarchy like a true dog pack, the more dominant eat first, or try to, Momma keeps on top of that, and will block the bigger puppies while the smaller ones nurse. It's fascinating really, I could watch them all day.

Edited to add.... Their personalities are not developed enough at this point that I would assign puppies to a family, or pick mine yet, by any stretch. :-)

Great looking babies! I think they are *almost* as cute as your last litter. :-) Really excited to see them over these next two weeks especially. Four weeks of age is my fave.

Thanks for letting us watch them grow. They're already making mama look small.
