The downside to letting the dog sleep in the bed

Thor likes to sleep in a little ball in between our pillows with his head tucked behind mine. This morning at about 4 am I woke up to that sound - you know, the pukey one - and before I could jump out of bed he puked in my hair. Awesome way to start the week.

For the record I think he's fine - he swam a bunch yesterday and likes to drink pond water while swimming. I also caught him munching on the mulch in my garden (which was a habit we had to break him from as a puppy - guess it's time for a refresher course). His tummy is likely just upset, but it's bland and boring food for a while while we make sure. He's also banished to the tile floors while we keep an eye on him to make sure nothing else comes up.

      Happy Monday!

      UGH!!!!

Mine have thankfully always hopped off the bed before running to the corner of the room to do that. I can’t even ....

Yuck! Talk about a bad Monday. For the love of God Thor, get out of the bed BEFORE you puke.

I'm a sympathetic puker, I'd have lost my cookies.

Eww! well, your Thor really loves you and wants to be close when he isn't feeling well! My dogs have mostly moved over to the edge a bit (but still hit the bed) or got off the bed!

Gahhh! I've never been so glad that Kimber always sleeps with us with her head down near our feet. Her butt doesn't get higher than elbow/shoulder, so thankfully there hasn't been hair poopalooza.

Ugh I know exactly what sound you are talking about. Waking up to it is one of the worst things.

New hair product? I don't think so. Only Potion would dash for the door before an eruption. All the rest let it go where they stand. Luckily that did not include the bed or my hair.
