    Dog sitting fun!

Bacon, Jake and I had a great time having our friends dog stay with us this weekend! She was a wonderful houseguest and had a great time with Bacon! We definitely learned some major differences between labs and German shorthair pointers. GSP don't really like to fetch anything unless it's a bird. They also truly have a mind of their own, and are much more independent than labs. Also, she was incredibly scent driven!!!! We know for sure now (Jake was trying to convince me we wanted a GSP for our next dog) that we are sticking with labs [emoji4]. Here are some pictures of all the fun we had.

aww! i love GPS's and would seriously consider one. most have zero consideration for personal space

My friend has a pointer (not GSP another line) who's a doll. she'll just plonk down right on top of their other dog :P My friend is working hard to train her to fetch haha.

I had a weim foster that was a great fetcher (and did a test with her on one of those bumper throwing thingy and she was a natural!)

LOL Bacon is looking a bit put out in the photos

He was actually quite annoyed with her at the end of the weekend. She was quite loud at night (can't interrupt Bacon's beauty sleep) plus she wanted to play CONSTANTLY! He was exhausted and very much done by Sunday

One of the first things she did was jump on our bed and try to make herself comfy (no dogs on the bed in our house!).
