    Icky Foods

As lab owners, it's pretty much understood that our dogs are one of the least pickiest breeds out there and they seem to think just about any food we give them is their favorite. But are there any foods that your dog does not like? Sierra doesn't care for apples or blueberries. She will play with the apple slice, but not actually eat it.

My dogs eat frozen brussel sprouts coated in powdered supplements. There is no such thing as a no fly zone at my house. My goats are pickier than my dogs and that's really saying something.

Oban wouldn't eat a raw mushroom the other day. Surprised the heck out of me.

Mine love cicadas and grasshoppers....you wouldn't think there'd be anything they wouldn't eat.

    But...

Dan won't eat any green veggies that I've tried (beg at my table? I'll give you something you don't like.). Neither will eat carrots.

Dan loves honeydew melon and all nuts (only allowed peanuts, though). They both love apples and bananas (one of them doesn't react well to bananas, though...I forget which...so no one gets them).

Another vote against green vegetables. Actually, Kimber has spit out just about all veggies that I've given her. She's more of a protein/carb/dairy girl.

The only thing Gabe will not eat is celery leaves-I think they are too bitter. He will even eat sauerkraut!!

Sophie eats pretty much anything but veggies. Brooks isn't wild over fruit, but will eat apples and bananas after he plays with them, and no green veggies, but he will eat carrots.
