Aye Mates,
Heading out tomorrow to visit 5 week old British Labrador pups out of HR TTF CRAIGHORN KIFFIN TRAD SH x TTF BIRCH BRANCH MAGGIE LITTER, aka "THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN", located in Lee, NH. Heading up with me gunning Mate Bill and his wife Maria, better friends would be a tough find. I stipulated that Bill and Maria would have first selection on any females whelped and there were two yellow females in the litter, the remainder consisting of 2 yellow males and three black males. As of this week, we have one black male that remains unspoken for and they will all be ready to go home on 6/24/17. Bill is a retired Sgt. for the Connecticut State Police and a former K9 handler for that same agency. Bill and Maria are also former Labrador owners and Bill is an ardent bird hunter so I am confident the pup will have the best o' care and training. Bill and Maria live 10 minutes away from meself and I will coordinate gun dog training with them.
I can't wait to see this litter and track their progress. Currently, 5 of seven are going to hunting homes, the 6th to a potential hunt test / hunting home, and the last remaining black male remains to be seen.
Making complete use of our trip north, Bill and Maria may make the selection of their pup tomorrow. Additionally, we will get to visit and dine out with our friends Norm and Katherine, breeders of this litter and owner of the dam - TTF BIRCH BRANCH MAGGIE. As an extra special treat, we will also visit with none other than New Hampshire sportsman extraordaniere - "COALMAN" and his bride Miss K, dear friends and owner of yellow dog "BELLE", a former gun dog trainee o' the old DOG WHISTLER, now a consummate grouse and woodcock hunting machine that roams the northern woodlands with David in pursuit o' "THE KING" (Ruffed Grouse). T'is certain to be a grand visit amongst great friends that love fine gun dogs and for the guys in the group that share a passion for hunting birds o'er these most special dogs. A fine meal to be shared along with some grog, laughs, and hopes for great pups to develop into extraordinary gun dogs.
Here's a peek at some o' the litter and the dam "MAGGIE". I"ll be getting lots o' photo's o' the pups whilst visiting.
Cheers,
THE DOG WHISTLER

Oh gosh, those babies are cute (and undoubtedly smart!) By the end of the evening, will you all be belting out some fine Irish tunes after a few Guinesses, or just you, for their entertainment, of course?
