    Archie Has Me Puzzled

About 5 days ago Archie hopped off the couch and started limping on his front leg. Put him on restricted activity and he has improved. However, he is very clingy, doesn't want to go out without me literally beside him. He's eating but has turned down a tidbit or two of food, not like him at all. The last two days he has not even come into the kitchen at dinner time; totally unlike him. He's up and down off the couch OK now but all these other oddities going on. As you know he came to us with terrible teeth and had several surgeries. Vet said there were two teeth we needed to keep a close eye on. Wonder if one of them is acting up? A couple of things going on at the same time?

He's due an annual checkup so he is going to get it all, blood work, poop sample and urine sample if I can catch one. Due for heartworm test. Poor guy, he also needs his nails trimmed. He's going tomorrow morning.

If you can spare a few good thoughts. He really has me puzzled.

Don't worry, Archie, Mom will get it figured out. Hope whatever is "off" soon either resolves or declares itself so you can do something about it!

All good thoughts. Tooth issues can cause so many problems. Our Fran did not do well with food when she had issues. I hope everything goes well with Archie.

VEry confusing. If symptoms are of more than one thing it makes it so difficult to pinpoint a cause. As if that was easy anyway. It could be teeth except he is eating his meals? Does he do anything different then? Chew, swallow funny? Is there lots of drool, more than before?
