    YEAH! What a relief, for both of you, that she is home. You know what they say, if you want to rest, don't go to a hospital. She's probably really tired out.

    Completely sacked out. I think she'll be fine during her recovery. This is the first time I'm glad she needs an assist to get up the stairs. We don't have to gate.

    how's she doing today? sometimes the day later is tougher for them, hoping she's on the upswing and has the anesthesia out of her system

    She's a little too good so we backed off her Tramadol. We actually did have to gate off the stairs because she keeps trying to go up them. I don't know that she would succeed but better safe than sorry. She's a big belly rub dog too so she keeps rolling over on her back and twisting around so I flip her back and pet her head but she's none too happy about that.

    Her bruising did extend quite a bit today so I sent in before and after photos to the vet just now. I think it's OK but just want to be sure.
