    All is good.

I've neglected to post updates, apologies.

All is good. Achilles has had no bloody stools which we are very thankful for. His appetite was good during recovery and at his follow-up Dr. Vallee said his extraction sites were healed enough to begin transitioning to kibble (we feed Acana Cobb Chicken and Greens and often add things). He also said Achilles' remaining teeth are in good enough shape that he should live out the rest of his days with no further dental work. That's good because Faye and I agree that, considering his age (13?), we would rather not put him through any surgical or dental procedure.

I'm pleased to say that Chili Dog is his regular pleasant and easy-going self.

Thanks again to everyone for your support. (It's rough, being one of our dogs.)

So good to hear Achilles is doing well. If Archie can do it with as few teeth as he has, Achilles can too.

    SunDance, thanks.

Fran, indeed. Achilles almost inhales his kibble, and today he chewed (under our supervision) on a Wubba.
