The first night is down. Grace seemed to be doing better even though she had 3 things done. Lots of panting though, but this morning, she seems completely normal. I am watching her carefully, we haven't put the cone on her yet. She's pretty slow and quiet most of the time, so we are going to avoid the cone as long as possible Her eye looks really good too which really was the biggest worry. She's got a tshirt on due to the drain in her armpit, but she's dealing with that too!

The Griff is having a harder time. She is acting like she is in pain and doesn't want to move much. But no problems with her appetite, so I know she is doing OK. She's probably going to be resting herself for a day or two before the shenanigans start again.

Poor Griff. Some dogs act ubber pathetic over anything, hopefully that's all it is. Penny would act like things were much worse than they really were (which was not a good match for a worry wart like me but I learned). I had a foster that was lethargic (to the point I carried him outside to potty) over what we assume afterwards to have been - gas. GAS!

Hopefully Griff is back to her antics soon and Grace continues to do well!

Awww....poor Wrigley. Funny how my males seemed to be bigger babies after their operations than did my females but Wrigley's entitled to feel sore. I'm glad she got through the operation/anesthesia without complications....the seizure thing can be tricky.

Good thoughts that their recoveries will go smoothly.

I will send good thoughts and prayers to your house! I really hope both of your girls are feeling better! I hope you have some support from some friends and or family to help look after the girls and some emotional support for you. We are having our own dog health crisis here but not as bad. Hunter just torn his ACL again (in the second back leg)! He had his surgery already and is resting but it is so hard when they are in pain and not wanting to do anything!

Glad to hear both procedures went well. Hope your girls are feeling better today. Lots of good thoughts your way! I can relate to the seizures mess. It's so terrible feeling so helpless when they go through those. We had a male yellow who was diagnosed with epilepsy as a pup.
