Wow Jen, lots going on at your house! Good luck with it all!
Opal had 3 eyelid tumors removed in May and she did very well with her recovery. The ophthalmologist vet was able to remove them under sedation. Hard to believe that our girls, Grace and Opal, are now 12 years old! Considering all of Opal's joint problems, she's doing great and we just love her to pieces!
Sorry to read that Wrigley is having seizures . It's very disturbing to watch our dogs going through seizures. Ursa started seizing last year August as we were going through 3 very tough things in our lives (vets think she picked up on our stress and emotions). Had an MRI done on Ursa to rule out brain tumor- with none found, and Ursa was diagnosed with epilepsy. She's on Keppra and 2 wonderful homeopathics and she hasn't had any grand mals for many months. She has some focal seizures in the early morning as her brain is waking up, but with the latest homeopathic, she hasn't had any focals in weeks. Vets are very happy with her progress, and so are we.
Wishing you all the best with your fur-family! Hang in there!
Thanks!!!
Jen
