Oh Sue, I haven't been on here in days, dealing with my own dogs. I am so sorry about Chase. He had an awesome last day even though I know the family is going to miss him terribly. Prayers for you guys!

Oh no, i'm so sorry, what a shock.....i'm sure Lark knew something was wrong with Chase, good girl for getting your attention. It sounds like nothing could have saved him, and at least he was getting a car ride and knew where you guys were going, he must have been very happy.
I hope you're all coping as best you can, so sorry for your loss.

I am so so sad to read this. I haven't been on in a while. Chase was such a great secret Santa to my guys and Im going to miss seeing him opening his boxes. Rip sweet boy.

Thank you all again for your thoughts and wishes. We still think of Chase frequently. His 11th birthday would have been next week, but life has a way of moving you forward. Lark has actually been in good shape. She follows me around, sits by my feet when I'm on the computer, sleeps by my side of the bed, pretty much everything she did before! Our grandbaby used to spend a lot of time focused on Chase, petting him, lying on him, talking to him, hugging him, probably because he was the less active of the 2 dogs. It's nice to see that Lark has adapted to the role of baby's doggy quite well.
