Dog Induced Heart Attack - of the Good Kind

NOthing bad happened. It's just Oban was so unbearably cute and loveable today it made me wonder, could my heart swell with love to the point it bursts?

We walked a place I think we haven't been since early last winter. There's an observation platform and Oban went ahead, boingedy, boingedy, boing, boing up the open stairs, turned around at the top and smiled down at me with waggy on the go. I'm sure his thought bubble said, "You always go up here for a look, Mum. Come on, hurry up." And when I got up we both looked out all sides. It has two levels and he did the same on the next set of stairs. I had the camera but didn't think to take a photo. He looked around at the marsh with me and then we went down, "Slowly, slowly." He's really not supposed to go running up and down stairs on his wonky elbow but sometimes you just gotta let them do these things, especially when it seems to give him as much enjoyment as me.

This is further along the trail.

I love it when a lab smiles at you. Glad you and Oban enjoyed the day.

Nothing like a lab to make you really "see" life and love. Glad you two had that experience. It's those kind of memories that live forever in your heart.
