    Owe Oban's Vet Some Repairs

Oban will tell me when he thinks we've stayed somewhere long enough by picking up his leash and bringing it to me. People think this is cute, instead of rude, so I usually leave the leash where he can easily get it. But for some reason yesterday at the Vet's I hung it up on one of her new coat hooks. She has those stick on ones that look like a dog's back end with the tail sticking up for the hook.

You've probably guessed already. The Vet asked Oban to fetch up his leash, I encouraged him, he tried but it caught somewhere and pulled the hook right off the wall. It's her brand new office we've only been in twice and she bought the hooks because they were supposed to be very strong, AND if you wanted to move them would not take the paint off. Wrong on both counts.

Screw nailed in hooks would have been a much better idea but the clinic owner didn't want my Vet to put holes in the wall. I guess I will try to find her bigger hooks so they can stick on and cover up the area where the paint came off.

Poor Mr. Oban, he did get the leash and bring it, and didn't get the enthusiastic response he probably expected. He looked a little confused.

Probably a good thing she hadn't gotten a screw-in or you might be replacing drywall instead of just paint.

I have this one in my hallway (if she decides on a screw-in for next time): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Sorry, has to laugh. Oban only did what he thought was right.

Poor Oban ... just trying to be helpful. Not his fault those 3M strips have to have the tab pulled before you yank them off the wall. I think a photo of Oban with his leash in his mouth should cover the damaged wall quite nicely

There you go, best idea. A nice photo of Oban with a leash in his mouth, then put the new hook somewhere beside it.

LOL Labs, you have to love their enthusiastic responses especially when they know exactly what your asking.
