    Absolutely Disgusting...

GILBERT, Ariz. -As the owners of 20 dogs wait for answers as to why their pets died at a Gilbert boarding service, Fox 10 News has learned that the son and daughter-in-law of US Senator Jeff Flake were tasked with caring for the dogs while the boarding house’s owners were out of town.

MCSO launches investigation into Gilbert dog deaths - FOX 10 News | myfoxphoenix.com

How could anyone owning or operating such a facility allow something like this to happen? I'm sure he'll get off light, given that his father is a U.S. Senator.

So sad. Equally sad this is not considered criminal, in any way. I will never board my dogs, never have, never will.

That really sucks! I am so sorry for all the owners. We'll have to see how this develops and what the investigation finds.

So sad for the dogs. I've only boarded dogs once, years ago. Since then, either DH or I are home. Kinda puts a crimp on vacations but with seniors they are much more comfortable at home.

Inconceivable that this could happen. Can't believe it.

Saw an article where the sheriff said it was hard to believe yhe dogs were ok when yhe people went to bed. Implying the issue was not merely the AC cutting out.

    What a tragic story!

I only board my dogs once a year at most; but I have them stay at the most reputable facility I could find. I like that there are web cams so you can see what is going on and that there are people there around the clock.

Judging by the story it seems to be due to the AC going out.
