    Microchip Cost in Canada?

Anybody know what the usual cost is if you get it separate from purchasing a dog? There is a Microchip Clinic on Saturday, $25/cat or dog. What did you pay?

I paid $45 in PA at my vet during a special they were running but there are often low cost clinics that area in the $25 range in this area. That is a great price!

I paid $100.00 but have seen specials since then, usually around $50.00.

$25 is a good price. All our dogs have already had their chips but after talking to other owners, the price is much higher around here.

This is the microchip company and it will be a Vet doing the implants. I think I will take the cat.

I guess I should have her scanned to see if she already has a chip. Running wild for nearly 2 years, not spayed and popping out kittens who probably died till this litter, not likely she's chipped. But if she is I'll have to figure out how to not let her go back to previous owners.

$25 is the cheapest i have seen by far! i think the chip cost more than that.

rescues here do it for 40-50. vets charge no less than $70 i think

eta judt read the chip company is doing it - they must be charging close to their cost for the chips. free implants.

My vet charges $64. Luckily, Bobby came chipped by the breeder!
