    Gabe slept thru it!!!!

    So much for animals going crazy during the eclipse!! But the cicadas did chirp for about 2 minutes.

    We just got back from our afternoon walk around a pond. I didn't notice any animals acting any differently....but did notice a LOT of people staring up at the sun without protection.

    Aren't you pretty close to the total eclipse line? No birds fell from the sky or anything else here either!

    Yes, it was like midnight!! People were going crazy shooting off firecrackers and tooting horns. I guess the animals are the smart ones.

    I slept through it myself. But several hours later the crickets and animals were very vocal in my area

    We only had a small percentage of coverage but with glasses on we did get to see it and what we did see was amazing. Mostly just watched the tv to see the total eclipse and yes seen several people on tv with out protective glasses on just regular sun glasses.
