We just got back from our afternoon walk around a pond. I didn't notice any animals acting any differently....but did notice a LOT of people staring up at the sun without protection.
So much for animals going crazy during the eclipse!! But the cicadas did chirp for about 2 minutes.

Very overcast here so no viewing at all. Just got a lot dimmer.

I slept through it myself. But several hours later the crickets and animals were very vocal in my area
We only had a small percentage of coverage but with glasses on we did get to see it and what we did see was amazing. Mostly just watched the tv to see the total eclipse and yes seen several people on tv with out protective glasses on just regular sun glasses.
