Our breed is unique in that they are so sociable, (if they are bred properly; for temperament, and socialized/challenged by the breeder) that they do well together in mixed groups, and same gender groups. I know my breeder friends run several intact males together and they are buddies, even with bitches in season around, and I, myself have several intact bitches at my house that love each other.
When you bring a puppy in, I don't think that it will matter if you get a male or a female puppy. And I agree with what Barry passed on that JenC has said, males are I love you I love you I love you, and the girls are more love me love me love me, although my girls are very sweet and affectionate.
Voodoo, I think you would do well to allow your breeder to select a puppy for you, taking into account that Chili is very mellow and submissive. I hope you find what you are looking for!

I have 3 boys and 3 girls. Some are intact, some are neutered. I don't think it matters as long as you run the pack correctly.

I have all girls here just to spare the boys the hormonal exposure. Regardless, they all get along fantastically.
