Sunny passed her Canine Good Neighbor test

Very proud of Sunny for passing her Canine Good Neighbor test. She will need to do the St. John's Ambulance dog therapy course next which I heard was a bit harder & then she will be a great therapy dog. Sunny is the chillest Lab you ever met so I know she will do well with kids or seniors or whatever.

Congrats Sunny! Is the canine good neighbor test similar to the canine good citizen test? Congrats on your accomplishment!

    Good girls, Team Sunny.

I heard the therapy dog test was much the same only more strict. But when Oban did his CGC a dog testing with us was a therapy dog and his owner said she found the test we were in harder than when they did therapy dog. An awful lot must depend on the tester, I think.

    Congratulations Sunny!

Meeps83, as I understand it yes the CGN and CGC are similar if not identical.

Congrats! Great job Depending on the dog and the evaluator the TDI test isn't too bad at all. I went in with no prep for Rocky.

The name difference is a country thing. I can't say they are exactly the same but generally the same thing. CGN would be the Canadian name; CGC would be american.
