    I dare ya.

Fitzi's favourite toy is this ball. It's deflated so he can hold it in his mouth. Sometimes we play chase/keep away.

    Play bow.

I'm faster AND quicker than you are.

    Hahahahahahaha, you can't catch me.

Go on, try to take it. I dare ya.

I can easily end the game by saying, 'You want a treat?'. He is a Lab(x) so he bounds up and often (not always; we are working on that) sits nicely. He gets bonus praise for bringing the ball and dropping it.

That's so cute! When Sophie was about 6 months old, I bought her one of those red playground balls, which she promptly killed. I got her a soccer ball, thinking it would be a little bit tougher. She LOVED that damn thing, and would chase it all over. One day, she grabbed it a bit too hard and popped it. The look on her face was priceless. She nosed it and pawed at it, and would look at me like "Dad, I don't know what happened, but can you fix it??"

I still laugh every time I think of that!

    Barry, that's a great story!

Mike, I like it too, am glad I got down at his level to take it.

Fran, he is a happy boy. Am so glad we adopted him.
