    she's eating other dog's poop.

My beautiful Sunny is starting to eat other dogs poop. Is there a way I can curb the behavior? This is fairly new behavior, she is almost 3. If I catch her right away I say "leave it" but it's already in her mouth. She knows she's been naughty because she does the naughty dance (which is hilarious by the way). Any idea's are welcome.

yeah Rocky started around 3-4. it only got worse and became an obssesions. anything i tried only succeeded in ruining our recall and harmed our relationship at one point.

The best option for us was to avoid places with poop and pick up right away. this was a huge huge huge issue at dogs parks and really, even just trails where dogs are supposed to be on leash. Heck, he'll eat some on leash off the side of the sidewalk sometimes!

Huh, I thought I answered this about an hour ago...

Here's a link to a recent post on the same problem. I'm not sure there were any good answers but at least you'll know you're in a crowded boat.

I think you just have to be super vigilant and spot it before she does. Not much else you can do .... mine will occasionally eat each other’s out in the yard, but not strangers while on a walk.

Sam started doing it around 3-4 also. Feeding him raw seems to help.

The shorter your leash, the more control you'll have over where her head goes. You just need to keep a close eye on what she's doing when you have her out.
