      Katie Is Not Happy . . .

. . . with me. Tried to explain that one of the side effects of having grandkids is spending a lot of time wrapping Christmas gifts. First she was laying near me, next the heavy sigh. The stink eye almost got to me. But, it was when she picked up her stuffie ball and bumped me in the legs that I knew it was time to quit and have some on the floor play time. All is right in Katie world now.

LOL same thing with Hemi. I have been wrapping a little every night for a while now. So I get down on the floor, start wrapping pretty soon there is a nose there trying to get involved. Every year a piece of tape get stuck to the nose, the top of the head, the paws. However I had a new one this year. I use those scotch tape packs, you can wear on the back of your hand and just pull off pieces of precut tape. Anyway I ran out of tape in the middle of wrapping, got up went to kitchen to get more. As I am getting more I hear the rip of presents being unwrapped.

Oh that stink eye, tells what they are thinking. "You are suppose to pay attention to me and play, not wrap those presents=unless it is mine"

I am so glad you have Katie to love this Christmas, helps to fill that spot in your heart and she is enjoying having a REAL family!!!!!
