    Long-term study of retrievers

Ok, they are GOLDEN retrievers, but still fascinating! The researchers are monitoring all aspects of the dogs’ lives, looking at environmental factors that could impact canine health. There’s a lot in the story about the devotion of the GR owners, which I’m sure surprises none of us.

My vet participates in this study. I had actually enrolled Bruce in a lifetime study that was being conducted in the UK. Every month I had to input info into the data base.
