Ever let your black dog outside . . .

Just to find out if it's still snowing? Call me lazy but if it's the middle of the night and I'm not dressed . . .

We call it the weather report.

Yes this is how i get weather reports from my sister

It kind of works on Hemi when he is wearing his coat. However, he only wears his coat when it is really cold and snowy out and we are going to be outside for a long time. So I already know ahead of time.

We don’t do it on purpose, but that usually is how we find out it’s snowing when it’s dark outside!

Really has not snowed much around here which is unusual but appreciated. With Katie, it's a quick pet on her back for me to know until we get a heavy snow.

Living on just east of Mobile bay and south of I-10 snow is quite rare but last week we had the first snow in decades. Brown dog is easier to see it on than the yellow one.

yep! I think we are a bit further north than you guys but Illinois has been unusually mild the past couple years—I kind of miss the big snowfalls!

Seriously? You guys missed all the snow. I am not that far north of you, 2 hour drive, and we are typically the same weather. We have over a foot and a half of snow already. Hence the Hemi in his coat pic already.
