I'm sorry your aunt wasn't in a better mood but am glad Oban enjoyed being the star of the show. Even for a short time. My grandmother sang "How much is that doggy in the window" to me when I was a little girl so that song brings a smile to my face.
Our Christmas was the 24th at my sister's and on the way down we visited my Aunt in her nursing home. They had a man singing Christmas carols in the foyer and a lot of residents and their family listening. When we walked in he started singing How Much is That Doggy in the Window as attention turned from him to Oban. Oban was in 7th heaven as so many people wanted to pet him and he didn't want to leave to visit Aunt. LOL Too bad Aunt did not want to go down and participate as the singer was good and when we first arrived he had a real Elvis twang going on one carol and I would have liked to hear more.
Sadly my Aunt was in an incredibly foul mood. Usually the dog just transforms her but not this time. The home baking we took helped but she didn't want to share any with Oban as she usually does.

So sorry your Aunt was not in a good mood. Sounds like Oban got an over abundance of loving which he surely deserves.
