The omega paw one smartrock listed Hemi chewed right through it in a day. However other people have really recommended it. I had not luck with it.

However the Kong wobbler is a fantastic one and yes it fits from food. It is tough as well, Hemi got his when he was a puppy, still has it.

One of the best ones Hemi has is this one, I had a heck of a time finding it in my amazon orders. I bought it back in 2013 and it is till going strong. Its hole does have some like crosses in it so you can cut it to size to allow the kibble top come out. I just cut one prong off the cross and perfect for fromm

Another good one was this one by busy buddy. You have to make sure you screw it down tight though, it actually screws down and then you have to go a little farther and it locks in place. This is another one you cut the hole to size.

New one he got this year, so can't say for sure on durability. But so far so good, he plays with it even when it is empty. He has manage to completely move the inner green piece and throw it all out of whack, which honestly I am ok with he made it harder on himself.

Those are the best ones Hemi has. He has probably 20 of these different things to hide supper in. He has to work at them to get them out. If you really want a challenge what I do to Hemi is I lock him in a bedroom, fill up all his toys putting a little biut of food in each one and then I hide them in different rooms. I always take one back to the bed room when I let him out because he takes off running he knows the game is on. So then I set the one I carried with me somewhere in that room as well. It can take Hemi sometimes an hour to get his entire supper. He loves the game, I figured this out back when I was taking some classes he was young and we had that super long winter a few years ago. He is panting by the time he is done, he has run all over the house. Classes and winter snow took up a lot of my time.

Kimber enjoyed her Kong wobbler last night!

Nina Ottoson makes a range of excellent dog game puzzles. They are spendy, but well made, and every now and then you can run across a 50% off sale. (I've only bought the plastic ones so they can go in the dishwasher) Kimber likes the Casino: Amazon.com: Nina Ottosson

    MY LAUGH FOR THE MORNING:

I just got the package with Danny's snuffle mat. The instructions on the box are to scatter food on the mat and "giggle slightly" so that the food will fall into place. Giggle? Tee hee. I'm pretty sure they meant "jiggle" but I giggled when I read that.

I just gave Dan a trial run with the mat and, sure enough, he enjoyed using it.

Sunnie, predictably, was afraid to sniff it. I think I'll try to get her used to it slowly when the little one isn't around.

In the low teens here, but the pups are very happy to be outside for quite a while. Just let Tobey out and he sat down on the snow and just sniffed the air for at least 30 minutes. Thankfully they both love snow and are running around a lot. Would be a lot tougher if in the city and needed to leash walk them. If indoors, rawhide, kongs with peanut butter and hide and seek. Stay warm everyone.

Wednesday I sent gigi to day care where they have a big play room . She was very active and played like nutz. 25 bucks si only 1 day a week.

Its really bad and she does not like to be outside . She just sleeps and chills.

I have taught her to use her nose. Hide treats and ask her to find it. Initially she will look for to point the location.now she is breathing in deep and finding rhe trick. We do heal work.

Bass pro shop is good place to go.

My biggest issue is food. She is down ri 1 cup a day. She usually eats 4 cups of rhe same food. She controls her own food intake depending on how much she walks and is active. We are near or ar zero for last 2 days and do not hit 30 till monday.

What do people do with decrease in food intake during less activity. She is going to be 2 .

Wow, that's quite a drop! Mine have never decreased their intake on their own. I'm backing off on Lark's food a bit and she's not one bit happy about it.

I've never heard of a dog (especially a Lab!) decrease food intake on their own. Cats do that, but dogs on the other hand... I don't know! If my dog did that, I'd think that either something is wrong with that batch of kibble, or that she god bored with the same food over and over again. And I'd pay a visit to the vet, just in case. Better safe than sorry.
