    Any guesses?

Well, Lark finally reached her breaking point after 3 days without a walk. Our temperatures have been below freezing for 8+ days straight, some days not making it out of the teens. We have walked some, despite the temperatures, but Larky hadn't lost her mind quite yet. Yesterday we had freezing rain that left a glaze of ice over everything, so I ditched out on the walk yesterday for a 3rd day in a row. Today I heard her in the front hall chewing on something and found her with something that took me a while to identify. I'll let you see if you can guess it before I say what it is. And it's something probably all of you have in your own homes right now.

And it's not for lack of other toys, this is her toy bucket minus the half dozen or so that are out on the floor. It sounded like that Nylabone dinosaur she has, but you can see it there with her other toys.

    Any guesses?

Does it cover the screws on the toilet bowl?

Yes! That was quick guessing! And in 5 years, nothing Lark had ever sampled, until today! Crazy dog!

After years of cleaning it and around it, I recognize it. What an odd thing for Lark to pick.

Argos used to chew on those. Very little in our house survived his first two years.

    I recognized it right away!
It must be a 'Lab thing', because mine always bring me the caps to the toilet screws LOL

None of our dogs have ever gotten those caps off the toilets. It didn't take me long to determine what it was but you know how it is when you see someone or something in the wrong context and it takes a minute to figure out who/what you're looking at. I just hadn't seen one used as a chew toy before, especially by Lark who just doesn't do stuff like that.
