Hey everyone,
Very new to the board, but after checking in with the admins, I've been given the go-ahead to share some info about a documentary I helped produce.
It's called Adele and Everything After and it's about a woman, Marty, who has a heart condition that used to make her faint, without warning, usually at least once a day. That is until she was paired with Adele, one of the world's first cardiac alert dogs - and a beautiful black Labrador.
Adele was able to sense when Marty's heart was getting weak and alert her in time so that she didn't faint. In fact, within a few weeks Marty stopped fainting entirely thanks to Adele's alerts.
But after 9 years of being together, side-by-side, 24/7, Marty made the decision to retire Adele, and the film follows the challenging but ultimately uplifting journey of ending their partnership and embarking on a new one.
It's like the Marley and Me of documentaries, except the dog doesn't die at the end!
The film won numerous awards at film festivals in 2017 and is being released on video-on-demand on January 30th. It will be available on platforms like iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Comcast, Fios, DirecTV, Shaw, Rogers, etc.
You can check out more info at adelemovie.com and even pre-order your iTunes copy at adelemovie.com/iTunes
If you have any questions about Adele and her amazing abilities I'll do my best to answer them here!
Thank you so much for reading!

Looks interesting...but the trailer gives me only audio and a black screen. (Windows 10, Internet Explorer)
I am able to view the trailer. Looks like I'll need some tissues nearby to watch this one! Thanks for letting us know about the film.
That brought tears to my eyes.
Thanks so much everyone.
If anyone has any other great ideas about how to get this in front of more people, I'd love to know.
We really believe this film has an important message about the power of service dogs, and we really need to get to 1000 presales on iTunes for it to have a chance of reaching a significant audience, so we'd love any help anyone can give.
I'll be looking forward to it!
