    Sad Kimber news

We had to let Kimber go this morning. She’s been declining rapidly this past week and after a rough night, we agreed it was time.

We are heartbroken. If love could've saved her, she would've lived forever.

I will write a tribute for the Rainbow Bridge section soon, but in the meantime: Run free, sweet Kimber. I hope you're chasing squirrels and barking at deer and chewing up frisbees to your heart's delight.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”
