We had a neighborhood super bowl party tonight and all of the dogs came out to play. One of our neighbors pups is a 13 year old black lab who did a great job keeping up with the younger dogs. He is such a sweet boy, with barely any sugar on his face for his age! I can only hope that Thor is as spry and joyful at that age!

Our Nikki is bouncy at almost 14! Anything is possible.
Wow! Always impressed when I see the old dogs doing so well!

Amazing he has very little 'chrome'! He looks like a really sweet pup.
Ask him what's his secret! He looks great!

He got lucky in the gene pool, as far as graying genes go. Nice to see them want to be spunky at that age and able to be spunky.

It was so fun to watch all the dogs play. We have an abundance of labs in our neighborhood but they are all pretty young compared to old Omar here. He would play for a bit, keeping up with the young ones just fine, then nap for a while (right in the middle of the party), then hed hop back up and jump in with the younger pups again. I had no idea he was 13 until my neighbor mentioned it. No idea what his background is but he just made me smile so much.
