I'd be super curious how they screen dogs. And really that would only work for a super friendly easy going dog that loves strange dogs. read canine rules and sounds like it's self managed
Been slow but starting campground reservation and stumble on this.
The Getaway at Glen Highland Farm and you can enjoy it all with your dog off leash!
Intresting concept . Anyone been there. Even if we bring our own camper it's 175 a night . Maybe we can do it as a novelty but it's expensive .

One advantage of living out west - all the millions of acres of public lands where you can dispersed camp with no restrictions, leashed or otherwise.
At some.point I want to move out to the big sky country. I love camping , riding motorcycles , animals., bikes and guns. Seems it better suits me then this over crowded north east.
9 more years and my son will be done with high school and I will be 50.

When I first had a puppy 15 years ago, something like this sounded great. My dog running loose among friends and hiking in the woods looked like a Norman Rockwell painting.
At this point however, I'm more jaded and would be concerned about the safety of my dog mixing with other dogs not leashed. Even leashed, I'm cautious about who can just randomly approach my dog, especially if they have a dog. I've just seen too many examples of an innocent dog getting hurt due to irresponsible owners or poor circumstances.
Unfortunately, I'm also really hyper aware and concerned about any woodsy and high grass area my dog would go into and be exposed to ticks and the various and increasing TBD that are out there. I don't know if it's climate or what, but the ticks seem to be much worse than years past.
