    Truth

Yesterday it was my grandbaby's crayons. Should make for some interesting poops this week but better than finding a dead, rotting carcass in her mouth. Sometimes you just gotta let it go...

Made me LOL. This is Asher. He will skip chewing and just swallow. I try not to panic when I see something in his mouth and pretend I have a yummy treat in my hand. It has worked the last few times. I suspect he will catch on soon and I'll have to try something different. I'll never forget chasing him around the backyard while he carried a dead, frozen bird in his mouth. It was 0515AM and 4 degrees out -- and yes, I was in my PJ's. I was one ticked off mom. He was one happy and proud lab!

Yup, crayons are definitely better than a dead animal. Recalling a story involving my gone on ahead Stella, a way dead squirrel, living room carpet, lots of coaxing, and my three other dogs looking on . . .

Not gone, only gone on ahead - Bruno, Rex, BoJo, Kendal, Kingsley, Moonpie, Avis, Corndog, Stella, and now Achilles

Just an hour ago, it was the "what do you have in your mouth?" to Gabby. She calmly spit out both of the DH's neon yellow earplugs. We can spot them a mile away in the yard, so your yard should be lovely.

Haha, yeah, I already picked up one with a nice supply of orange crayon in it but sadly that has been bagged up for posterity and sent off to the landfill just this morning! Don't you wonder what aliens would think if they went to a landfill and found all these little plastic bags of carefully packaged dog poop? Hmm, this must be important, look how carefully they've packed it up!
