What fun! That's exactly the situation I need.
That's a nice therapy session for you both! I'm sure Magnus wasn't displeased either

Puppies Are exhausting! Its such an fun exhaustion though. Heehee
I am sure Magnus enjoyed it as much as you did.
Macy was Worst. Puppy. Ever. It may have been easier having a newborn than a lab puppy. But well worth it. Glad you are loving the puppy therapy.
Yes, puppies are exhuasting!! I am certainly puppied out for the foreeable future. Jett is never really been too crazy - no biting- very calm- but he had a really hard time sleeping through the night and not going potty in his crate. In addition, he had EXTREME diahrrea-which always ended up being in his crate on a week night at 2 am and we had to wash him, and the crate....so exhuasting! I think his tummy issues had to do with him sneaking through the cat door for cat food once or twice that left him with a very unsettled stomach. One night, we had to clean him FIVE times. On the other hand, he has been a very calm puppy and very easy to train. SOOOOOO much easier than Daisy - but I did get Daisy at 7 months of age so I know its different.
But I shouldn't talk so fast because he is now 6 months old and I know this is supposed to be the difficult age.
We just started his intermediate training class at petsmart and the trainer told us to bring him with a little more energy next time. He didn't do much because he was so tired from playing with the neighbor's dog before class.

Once you have had a wonderful dog, a life without one, is a life diminished.

I thought Polly was a handful until Daisy came along. Polly is almost 7 and Daisy just 16 months. The things they get up to! Yep - exhausting is the word and you always have to be several steps ahead of them!!

Sounds like you have wonderful neighbors that are happy to share their little bundle of joy. and agree puppies are a handful, not sure I could do it again at my age. congrats again on your new jobs and home, when the time is right another little one will find their way to you.
Bailey was my wild child even at 4 months when we first rescued him. All our friends said he could come and play but couldn't stay, that is how bad he was into everything. the only people that would watch him over night was his girlfriend Miss Hathaways parents. She had once told me the only reason Hathaway was an only child was their fear of getting another dog that acted like Bailey. This past weekend they adopted a 6 year old female black lab
