Our neighbors have a 4.5 month old black lab puppy, Magnus. This weekend, we were invited over to play with Magnus.
We said hello to the human neighbors, and then got right down on the floor with the puppy. They kept saying, "Don't you want a chair?" and we were all, "No, no, we're fine!" Magnus was super wiggly and curious. He's getting better with biting- we kept redirecting him with stuffed toys in his mouth. He still likes to nibble clothes; he was very interested in chewing on the velcro on my husband's cargo pants.
After a little bit, we went outside, where we all spent time fishing acorns, sticks, and pebbles out of Magnus's mouth. He was alternately very interested in us and very distracted by All. The. Things. Outside! A few times, he got the puppy zoomies and ran around the yard in circles.
Guys, I tried taking photos but they all came out as a blur because, well, he's a black lab puppy. One time he was sitting still and I called his name to get him to look at me- but instead, he jumped up and tried to eat the phone.
We left after about an hour. We had a great time, and agreed, PUPPIES ARE EXHAUSTING.
