    Seat belt?

Just curious -- do you use one, and if so, which one? A crate in our car isn't an option.
    thanks,

Sleepypod Clickit harness is supposedly the safest. Center for Pet Safety and Subaru did a study on it earlier this year.

    Question,

Can put a crate in the car, but this could be an option too. Was wondering, what age would you put a pup into a harness, and feel safe? We plan on the pup having lots of car time so looking into different ways too.

Recently saw a news spot about evaluation of dog seatbelt/harnesses. Unfortunately none were rated well in this piece.

Do a google search on harnesses, there has been studies and tests that prove them ineffective, personally I think they are basically a waste of money and give a false sense of security. I bought a few different ones for Zoey when she was younger and each time id just sit and look at her thinking there is no way thats going to ultimately protect her. Again thats my opinion and personal experience.

The safest way to travel is in a secured crate. There isnt any comparable option to crating

A secured crate is the best way to transport your dog, period. The only harness type I would use, and have, is the SleepyPod. I still prefer a crate.

We had a pow wow over this and we are going to go with the crate. Feel it will keep pup safer vs safety belt. Just the way we feel.
