Oh wow! Hoping his incision is now healed and you're back to fountain-time with your boy.

Berna, get that poor boy some undies.

Hemi's incision had a hard time healing. The vet had me apply cortisone cream to his incision twice a day. This is also where the undies come in as well keeps them from getting the cream on furniture.

Final update on this topic, I guess

The incision has finally healed! Woohoo! It took a bit less than a whole month. Yep, he did lick the incision in the beginning but afterward he didn't have a chance. Had to wear the cone of shame all the time, unless he was eating, drinking, our out for a walk. Undies didn't work. He has trouble with his back legs and maybe that is the reason he wore the cone of shame better, lol. Eventually he got used to it and acted less miserable.

Anyway, we are back to our normal activities since yesterday. We finally went back to our fountain!

Great to see Cookie looking so happy again.

(Sunnie and Danny both take time to adjust to wearing a cone.)
