Way too much at one time. Hopefully the imaging will show something like a foxtail lodged in the nose. They will not necessarily show up on x-ray.

Sending both of you tons of mojo and prayers. Please keep up updated.

    Thanks so much, ya'll.

My chemo will be OK. 4 months. It's the right call because the cancer got to the lymph nodes. An icky summer... but then it's done. Bought the wig. Got my eyebrows tattooed on (vanity, thy name is woman!)

Still don't know about Lee Roy. They didn't see a tumor via rhinoscope. Took biopsies. No foxtail... (I think he'd be in pain with that, but in any event, no indication of it.) Even on CT, they saw no tumor but at the same time, whatever is characteristic of a fungal infection, they didn't see that either.

So we await biopsy results Tuesday or Wednesday. One new possibility is that it might be an autoimmune thing, though that is rare to have on only one side. I'm headed over to the vet to get some antibiotics because whatever it is may have resulted in a secondary infection. If they treat that, his bleeding may stop somewhat.

Your kind thoughts mean so much. My training group is also sweating it with me and have been really supportive. If the worst happens, I'll have folks to cry with and lean on.

Thanks for the update. Best wishes for a smooth experience with the chemo. Take the anti nausea drugs, they definitely helped my wife.

Also hope there is nothing seriously wrong with Lee Roy!!!!

Any chance Lee Roy has a tooth abscess that has eroded into this nasal sinus? One of our dogs had an abscess in a carnassial tooth and I'd read it could drain out through the nose. I guess they'd have seen it on the CT scan though, so maybe not.

    Eyebrows tattooed, good for you!

The most likely diagnosis is cancer, but we won't know until we know. If not that, then it's something weird indeed. I'd settle for weird. I heard about a dog that had similar symptoms that turned out to have adenocarcinoma of the nasal passages. There was some oral chemo that gave that dog an additional 2 years. I'd settle for something like that.
