SunDance, yes she knows. Does Sunnie also refuse to hold a pose?

POPTOP, yup. Her own mind indeed, and at times a challenge.

Snowshoe, woe betide the cat that sees fit to enter our backyard!

janedoe, I tried to get her to sit. Ain't gonna, don't wanna, can't make me.

    Jollymolly, I had to laugh.

labsnewfy, did it take some patience to get Ginger to sit for your sig photo?

In general, Sunnie does not like to hold any pose I actually manage to get her to do. But, unlike Lucy, for a camera, she'll sit all day...because it's her idea to do it. She and Dan both sit and look at any camera they notice...we've had some interesting encounters with strangers taking pictures in the parks and they've gotten invited into quite a few of those pictures (especially with kids or seniors).

I use a toughening liquid on their baby-bottom paw pads and getting Sunnie to hold a down/over/stay until those paws dry requires constant "good stay, puppies", "good over/stay, puppies" and visual monitoring. If I don't do that, I will find Sunnie with her forward end up, resting on those still wet paws. The stuff smells a bit and I just don't want it getting into the mat she's on in our front hall...bad enough those mats smell like dog feet anyhow. And I say "puppies" because Dan will stay in that position forever and doesn't need reminders....Sunnie gets nervous if I single her out, though.
