Molly and I went to a Senior living center

We went for a social with our silver sneakers group. I let Molly have the afternoon off and allowed her to be petted and greeted on command only. She was an absolute hit. Several of the residents asked if we would please come back. All of them commented on how well behaved she was. I do see how Mollys job yesterday was to give comfort to about 15 seniors several of them grieving their fur kids. I never knew dog human interaction was so exhausting for the dog . Molly got home and went right to sleep.

Molly really does amaze me as she is not a very lovey dovey social dog because she is always work focused, but its like she knows what to do when she needs to do it.

Good girl Molly. It's rewarding for the owner too. Would you consider doing that on a regular basis?

I will contact the home and see what I can do. I have been to others but I have never been to one that everyone is very happy living there. I even looked into temp living in case I decide to do my knee replacement.

Sounds like it was a great trip for the residents as well as Molly! I'll bet many of them miss furry friends of their own.

Awesome trip for both of you. Good job Molly!

Nursing home visits were so rewarding to us when we had Bandit. He had already been going when we got him from the breeder as she took him to visit her Dad. It's amazing how they know how to behave, being so gentle. Bandit ate up the affection.
