So glad to hear Oban barfed it up. That solves a lot of problems. This is just one more adventure that none of us want to take and a good lesson to remind us to 'think ahead' !!!!!!

Yes, Oban, a bit more patience is in order. Lark says the “pizza bones” (crusts) are worth the wait.

Thanks for the good wishes. Poor little Mr. Manny Boy did not feel good for an hour and a half till he barfed that stuff up. Lots of gurgling and panting and when I walked him outside he just wanted to lie on the cold, wet ground. After he got it out, boy, wanted to play and wrestle and zoom around the house.

And then, this morning, unbelievable, he found beef trimmings someone threw out on the trail and nearly got all of that down his gullet. I guess some nitwit was having prime rib or a big cut of beef for their Thanksgiving dinner today and threw the trimmings over a bank on the side of the trail. I got it out but I had to reach in his mouth. Oban had partly swallowed and I think even if he wanted to DROP IT, he couldn't. Another lady we met was upset her big Lab jumped on me and mouthed my hand and I explained he smelled the beef. I had it in a pooper bag but it was all over my hands. Poor George, not his fault he couldn't resist, or Oban's fault either.
