I am just used to them, it's not until someone tells me i have big dogs that i realize how big they are!

Lately my Scarlett looks huge. Although she is 80 pounds and I am now comparing to our new 18 pound terrier mix. Everything is drastically different!

I think it's just a matter of what you get used to. I never think about my dog's being particularly large or small until I see a dog that is either bigger or small than mine. Bigger than mine and I think it's a HUGE dog; smaller than mine and I think it's tiny.

I will say, though, that Hershey is the smallest of our three at 55 lbs. We had only her for about 3 years. Then we added Cash who is about 65 lbs and we thought he seemed so big. Then Bo came along at 75-80 lbs and he seemed like a giant at first. Even now when I clip nails it's funny to go from petite Hershey paws to big ol Bo paws.
