I had in the back of my mind to ask a friend who runs with her Rhodesian Ridgeback what type of harness she used....I knew that she'd had a tough time finding one that didn't chafe her dog in one area or another....I don't see a thread now and figure it was from before the board crashed.
Anyway...if anyone's interested....this harness is apparently wonderful for running (NOT a no-pull harness by any stretch of the imagination), or wonderful if you just want a harness but don't have an issue with pulling:
Padded harness - Hurtta
It comes in two styles. The link is for the regular style and there's also what they call a Y-style that seems to be more popular in Europe....I don't know what the difference would be in terms of preference and now that I know there are two styles, I honestly can't envision which one my friend's dog wears (but I'm pretty sure the regular).
I JUST GOT AN EMAIL FROM MY FRIEND....AND SHE REFERRED TO THE FACT THAT IT'S ACTUALLY THE Y-STYLE:
