    Introducing...

As most of you know, we had a really difficult couple of months losing both Bailey and Winston. However, we decided we wanted a fresh start for both of us and Walter. We decided we wanted either a black lab or a golden retriever. As it happens, my best friend's sister has an amazing golden named Murphy, and he gave me Murphy's breeder's contact information. It just so happened she had puppies available. So we brought home this little guy and named him Arthur:

Arthur is the sweetest little guy. He's about 11 weeks old now. He's very affectionate and playful, and has a great temperament. He does not meet a stranger (human or canine). Most importantly, he and Walter became fast friends:

I initially wanted to wait a while, but we wanted Walter to have another puppy for bond with before he got too old and set in his ways. There are still days when I think about Winston, and it's hard. But Arthur and Walter give me plenty of reasons to smile.

Thanks again to everyone for your counsel and support.

That picture of the two of them together is absolutely adorable....so glad they're getting along so well already.

Congratulations on finding the perfect puppy.

(I think Winston and Bailey would be happy to see their pal Walter happy with good companionship again.)

Arthur is adorable! We all move on in our own time. If we hadn't been dealing with All Life Changes, we would've gotten a puppy much, much sooner.

Welcome Arthur, you sure are a cute little guy. Now that you have a new home, you can become an official LAB so you can hang out with all the board pups and peeps.
