And hey, I hope everyone understands that w/ every litter we risk our bitches' lives. That's why my friend had to do a C-section... it was that or possibly lose her MH bitch. Shelley & I have both had our losses and I think she'd agree w/ me there is no price tag that can be put on that.
Do your homework. Study the OFA database and vertical pedigrees. Ask those of us who actually HAVE bred for years and we'll be happy to tell you if the pricing is reasonable.

I was just scanning over quickly...IDK
I have family in that area so always scanning that area for choc lab puppy
Thanks for all the responses, truly appreciated! We had in our minds that the cost was $1,800 to $2000 or so but wasn’t sure if that was still the going rate. We are ok with going up to $2500 for the right pup, this is going to be our family member for many years to come

$3,200 is for a Labrador makes my hackles go up. Lots of Champions out there, thousands. The LRC reports out the number of Champions each month and it's about 25 per month, so about 300 per year. Not saying it's easy to get, but it's not exactly uncommon and all those Champions (or Grand Champions, for that matter) are not producing $3,200 puppies. I searched for Labs and Goldens for a couple years, and wanted puppies out of dual champions, with strong sire AND bitch lines and spoke with lots of well-known, respected breeders that are not only producing Champions, but Grand Champions with lots of high level performance titles (that are even more rare than CHs) and their puppies are about $700 - $1,000 less, and they do all of the tests, and then some. I'd take Shelley's offer to look up your puppy's parents' (and grand parents', etc.) tests and breeder and make sure that everything is on order.
